Nuno Filipe Soares holds a DEng degree in Engineering Systems and Computing, and a pre-Bologna MSc in Computing, both from the University of Minho. He was a full-time Associate Professor for fifteen years and continues to lecture in the field of Technologies and Information Systems. He is currently completing a doctoral programme in Advanced Engineering Systems for Industry at the University of Minho in collaboration with Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal. Since 2014, he has been involved in R&D projects in Software Engineering. He is a Senior Researcher at the CCG/ZGDV ICT Innovation Institute, specialising in the architecture of processes, products, and services, and contributing to strategies for Smart Cities and Industry. As an external researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Centre, SEMAG group, he has authored several scientific publications on reference models, architectures, and maturity models for cities and industry.
